OSBG is for you who want to learn boxing and develop purposefully. We are located in the center of Kuopio and offer professional-level facilities and coaching for goal-oriented training.

Groups are continuously running – from beginners to competitors. Join anytime and start your journey to the ring.

Old School mentality

Old school mentality means discipline, honest attitude and uncompromising hard work – in the ring and outside of it.

At our gym, everyone is welcome, regardless of background or experience level. Here we don't show off unnecessarily, but let our actions speak: we train purposefully, take care of each other and respect the sport and its traditions.

Groups

Explore our groups. You can join anytime! The age limit for groups is 13 years.

We also offer young people a low-threshold opportunity to get acquainted with and practice boxing. Read more below.

Rookies

Content:: Basic technique and fitness. This is where it all starts. You can join on an on-going basis anytime!
Training:: Tuesday and Thursday at 8:00 PM–9:00 PM (technique),
Monday and Wednesday at 8:00 PM–9:00 PM (fitness)
Price:: 120 € / 3 months

Join the basic course group

Sparrers

Content:: Application of technique and contact. Develop your boxing skills to the next level. You can move to this group when you have mastered the basic technique.
Training:: Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 6:00 PM–7:30 PM,
Tuesday and Thursday at 7:00 PM–8:00 PM (5 times/week).
Price:: 40 € / month

Join the sparrers group

Fighters

Content:: For competitors and goal-oriented individuals. Hard training with the ring in mind. Moving to this group is agreed upon with the coach.
Training:: Tuesday and Thursday at 6:00 PM–7:00 PM.
Price:: 70 € / month

After School Boxing

Youth boxing classes give young people the opportunity to get acquainted with the sport and learn the basics of boxing in a relaxed and encouraging environment.

Classes organized by Old School Boxing Gym are free and open to all young people aged 7–18, regardless of skill level.

You don't need previous experience or your own equipment – just show up.

Content:: Lower secondary school training sessions release energy, build fitness, and train together with a great group. The classes offer challenges and successes in a relaxed atmosphere.
Training:: Tuesday and Thursday 5:00–6:00 PM (2 times/week)
Friday 5:00–6:00 PM sparring.
Price:: Free

Primary school / 7–12 years

Content:: In the Primary school group, boxing basics are learned through the joy of movement and fair play. In a safe and encouraging environment, both motor skills and social skills develop.
Training:: Monday and Wednesday 5:00–6:00 PM (2 times/week).
Friday 5:00–6:00 PM sparring.
